Or were we just all part of a grand, cosmic prank?

The tsunami struck without warning, destroying entire towns in its path. Buildings shattered like sandcastles, and the screams that followed was deafening. Thousands were buried beneath debris, their fate precarious. The magnitude of the disaster was unprecedented, rendering survivors to grapple a future forever altered.

Dreadful Day Ever

It all started with the case of bedhead hair. I couldn't make it to look decent. As I was dashing out the door, I trippedover and spilled all over my new shoes. To make matters worse, I was extremely late for work.

By the time I got home, I was exhausted. This day, this atrocious day will be forever remembered as a true disaster.

It all started here out badly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then everything went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
